
Dawn Nolan Lombardi is a well known Impressionist artist who was raised in western Massachusetts. She currently lives in Farmington, Connecticut with her family. Schooled at Boston University, Dawn works in any atmosphere, but prefers plein air, capturing sun light. Dawn has shown her work at exhibits across the country and has won many awards for her art.Dawn was a White House artist in 2002, and won Best in Show at the Clothesline Art Exhibit in Clinton, Connecticut in 1995. She has had shows in Boston, Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts. She was a presenter at the New England League of Middle Schools in Providence, Rhode Island, and has donated countless paintings for such charitable causes as Child Abuse Detection, Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Massachusetts, and to Mount Holyoke's College Theater in South Hadley, Massachusetts.
Dawn was recently featured in Hartford Magazine for her oil paintings created for Governor and Mrs.Rowland's 2003 holiday cards.
